Somewhere.............

I would love to have this song published somewhere.  But currently there is no demand for it except from local friends.  And other 'life' is so busy that I haven't taken time to focus on this project.  Please do let me know if you want to hear a portion of the song...........it is complete with permission and being copywrited (copyrighted?) and all that jazz!  Next up? A youtube video?  I need some voices!  Loving life!  Pamela C G

IF you're here about the song................

"YOUNG MAN CALLED TO SERVE"
well, to coin a phrase...........This is the Place!
(Sorry, sometimes I just have to say it.)

THANKS FOR VISITING!!!
This song is almost ready to go to print and
1) because it is a medley and
2) because I needed to seek permission from the lyrisist/composer (of whom is getting a royalty from the song) and
3) because I don't want to even appear dishonest I'm waiting to share this song until it is printed.  I'm aiming for the end of March.  But it could be before then.

Please feel free to leave your email or other contact information and I will respond as quickly as I can.  If you don't want to leave information just revisit and check out where it will be available.  I'm thinking that would less expensive for you than getting it from me.....but I'll figure it out.  Just so you are aware, besides involving myself with interesting projects, as this, I do currently work full-time, have family responsibilities and take a night class.  This is in NO way to try to impress you.............but to let you know it may be a few days before you would hear from me.

The song is a combination of 'A Young Man Prepared' from the Children Sing book, and
'Called to Serve' from the LDS HYMN book. It is, as both songs already are, very upbeat and powerful. And I feel blessed to have been the instrument that this work came through. Like I told the accompianist, who I had look at it first........."If it's any good, it was inspired. If it isn't....it's all me." She had great things to say about it and I had to fight to stay on my feet and not drop down on the ground and thank our Lord. IT has been performed once, when my son, Clayton, left on his mission. A young priest, who was at that meeting, said he wanted to use it in their Young Mens meeting. So I'm thinking you might like it, also.
Thanks, again, for visiting.  You'll hear from me soon.  Pamela C Graft

My how time just flys!

With going back to work at school and taking a new literacy class so I can be a better teacher, I am left with little time to explore, test, or write. I did create a small work space in my basement with a table with a basket per project! There are seven baskets so far but there should be a few more. I have enjoyed sharing one of my musical conglomerational (SP)/arraangements with two of valued musical female friends. They both love it. 'IT' is going to be sung at Clayton's farewell OCt 18th. I'm thankful for the channel I have been able to provide to have it come to light. Now if I can just get the church office of intellectual productions to let me know how far they are on getting the copyrights.........or let me know what I need to do to get it. They must be very busy. I was also excited to find a group of Literacy Agents that may pick up my manuscripts............maybe they would if I would send them something! Funny how that works!

IT has come to my attention in the past few days that I don't like dealing with failure. I need it in small doses. Maybe that is why I'm taking so long to get these things pulled together. The last little thing that I have planned and counting on for months, that didn't pull through depressed me immensely. I don't like going there and I'm glad that I had time without people around me to pull myself out of it. I have realized I need to be able to get past that quicker, easier, or just have it not get me down. Wish me luck, pray for me, whatever..........THe projects will provide jobs for people and that is more of an interest to me than anything else at this point. IT will add stress to my plate but it will also bring a certain amount of joy because of the positive changes that work brings others lives. later! Pamela
PS Time FLYS! not TIME FLIES! I thought that was funny.

Research on creating a business/hobby

That's what I 've been doing! Research! So is this going to be a hobby or a business? I'm thinking I should start it out as a hobby and IF it flies...................NO! That's the wrong ATTITUDE~! I should start it out as a business and WHEN it FLIES.............. hmmmmm! Still working on it. Other research, in the field, has been put on hold until I get away from gathering all the personal/family tax info. Give me a week! Give me anymore and I'll go crazy (if it takes that long).
IN the meantime, I hope everyone is getting excited to work on maintaining a DEBT-FREE organization. That just means that we will need to use all of our CREATIVE ENERGY, brain power, and cooperative talents! I work with great people so this should be easy.
One last thing............... copyright! I have to obtain some copywrite permission! Pray that I get it! It's all for a worthy cause so I'm praying that I get it!
THanks for your support and help! PCG
